The epicentre of the HIFA precinct is the Mainstage where the headline acts mostly perform. Other stages where artists perform include the Coca Cola Green which hosts free shows, the First street Mall stage which takes the festival to the people with shows every afternoon and the Global Stage which has a more intimate setting. On the Main stage was German band Jamara, Tcheka from Cape Verde and Jah Prayzah from Zimbabwe. The Global stage was The Fortune Tellas And The Cosmic Analog Ensemble. Amongst several other shows at the Coca Cola Green was award winning rapper Synik, The are Zimbabwe’s current music ambassadors, Were who were set to embark on a three month tour of Europe in June. On the First street stage was Zimbabwe dancehalls premier Winky D.
