The around the Ground reports were inspired after I applied to report for Cricinfo's Fan Following for the South Afrcia vs Zimbabwe match in Benoni. The application was declined or rather they just didnt respond so while I was there I thought hey we can just do this for ourselves and not wait for someone else to approve. Fan Following also didnt allow for pictures so we decided to do our own which would try to get the mood around the ground and capture what is normally not reported or focussed on. But these are all the subtilties that happen at the ground and add to the atmosphere of a live cricket match.
